Case Studies

Take a look at some of our installation projects, ranging from domestic installations to electrical installations and solar power installations for large commercial businesses.

5.5kW Solar PV Install

A recent 5.53kW Solar Pv install along with 5kW Huawei battery storage system, myenergi eddi immersion power diverter & zappi EV car charger.

Waltham Forest Council

The Spartek team was to design an efficient solar PV system that could match and even exceed the energy demand of the building, leaving surplus power to charge an on-site storage battery.

Marine Industrial

Marine & Industrial embarked on a project to harness solar power for their business operations and take control of their energy costs. To achieve this sustainable energy goal, they partnered with the team here at Spartek.

Alan Boswell Group

ABG partnered with Spartek to design and implement a solar panel installation tailored to their needs. The solar project was the installation of a 107.92kW Solar PV System.

Norwich Electrical

Norwich Electrical approached Spartek to fit a solar installation for Holton St Peter Primary School early years. We were thrilled to be part of the project and work for another well-known local electrician firm.

Solar

Do solar panels work on cloudy days in the UK?

The short answer is yes, solar panels absolutely work on cloudy days. If you live in the United Kingdom in 2026 and have wondered whether solar panels might be worth it, but find yourself hesitant about having them installed because of the constant grey skies and rainy weather, you’re not alone.

Solar

Do solar panels work at night? Powering your home after dark

The short answer to this question is no, solar panels don’t generate electricity at night due to the very nature of this technology, so for many people this begs the question: is it worth getting solar panels for my home, especially if I’m normally out during the daytime and only switch on and use most of my electrical devices and appliances in the evening when I return home?

Solar

How to clean solar panels safely (and when not to)

Before going ahead with your solar project and committing to a price that you have been quoted, it’s worth considering the VAT, especially if you are currently considering installing solar panels on your property or adding a battery.

Solar

Do you need planning permission for solar panels?

If you have ever thought about getting solar panels installed in your property, then you may have already wondered by now whether planning permission is needed from your local authority before any work can begin.

Domestic electrics

We had a domestic electric issue which Spartek identified quickly. Karl Garrod was particularly helpful in explaining things and carrying out the work. Sam Wright was most courteous in resolving an accounting issue. They are a credit to the company.

Absolutely recommend this company

My landlord used this company to ensure the rental property met all the required standards, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. These guys made the whole process, from the initial inspection through to the completion of the required work, an absolute doddle. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were very polite, professional and knowledgeable throughout. They kept me informed at every stage of the installation and took the time to explain what equipment they were installing and, more importantly, why it was needed. Everything was carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption. A very friendly, reliable and professional company. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Gavin and the installation teams were very accomodating to additional requirements for safeguarding, nothing was ever too much for the team to handle. Very impressed with their service, highly recommend.
